Spring Break in Utah
March 2010
Kimberly braved the drive to Utah by herself with the kids to spend time with beloved family and friends while the kids were out of school for two weeks. Luckily before leaving Kent noticed a problem with the Yukon (packed up and loaded, but not gone, thankfully) and Kimberly was able to get the water pump replaced and still on the road by 11am.

Our activities included night skiing (for Kenzly), new riding gear for the kids, Birthday celebration for Kierra, Jump-on-it, shopping and Pirate Pizza Place, shopping at the mall, a trip to the Insta-Care for an ear infection, dinner at Gar & Kelly's new home in Spanish Fork (sleep-over for kids), lunches and lot's of visiting and breakfast at Kneaders before leaving.

Kenzly after night skiing with the Weir's at Sudance.
We didn't come prepared with ski gear but after scrounging and renting we got her outfitted and off. Although she has skied for a few years, it wasn't quite like riding a bike...!

Kierra's birthday celebration in the Andrews' backyard the Sunday before her birthday. It was a nice March day and we enjoyed being outside without freezing!

Kierra - almost FIVE!

Visiting Kelly and Garrick's new home for the first time. We enjoyed a yummy dinner and visiting. Afterwards the potty-trained kids stayed for a sleepover.

Happy Fifth Birthday Kierra
March 25, 20120
We had already celebrated her birthday but couldn't resist an opportunity to celebrate Kierra's actual birthday again. She is a sweet helpful girl who makes her mom laugh daily.

Rocky Mountain ATV....here we come...and leave with $450 dollars less in our bank account - YIKES!
Since Kimball's riding gear was literally cut off with our last Sand Dunes trip when he was life-flighted with a broken leg, he needed some gear. Kenzly chose Turquoise and Black, Kierra (of course) chose pink, and Kimball chose blue. He also got new riding boots and PJ's.
It took a LONG time to make sure the three kids were properly outfitted with matching gloves, but we finally made it out of the store TWO HOURS later. Papa was happy to accompany (thank goodness). Karsten wreaked havoc on the gas cans and anything else he could tear apart. By the time we left, Kimberly was nearly a nervous wreck and late for her lunch....

Permanent LIPSTICK....! So pretty. Karsten found Nanna's favorite lipstick and helped himself to some. Sadly, Kimberly had to take him to Insta-Care that evening (another ear infection) looking a little less than cared for. No matter what we used, it wouldn't come off!

Tree House

Kimball spent a great deal of time building a tree house during our stay. He kept asking to sleep outside in it, but was turned down SEVERAL times. While Kimberly was picking up Kent at the airport, he took FULL advantage of the situation and got himself all bedded up for the night and asleep before mom and dad got back home, so we couldn't say NO. He slept terrible (waking up SEVERAL times to check on him...worrying he would fall out or freeze to death) and he slept great. Just recently in a conversation about that night he told her that he was HOT!! All that worrying for nothing. What a great memory he got out of one night!

Fashion Forward Kenzly asked for a spontaneous photo shoot wearing fashion fur from her Great Aunt Ella. She's ready for the runway...look-out Hollywood!
